TROPICAL CAJUN CAKE
New Orleans meets Hawaii! You take a traditional Louisiana cake recipe and add pineapple and coconut to instantly transport yourself to the pacific! I’ve seen it called the “Do Nothing Cake” or the “Tornado Cake” too. Some people like to substitute walnuts for the pecans, but to me it’s just not the same. You will love this recipe, and so will everyone who tastes it. The topping is especially addictive. It’s very similar to the topping you’re familiar with from a German chocolate cake.
