CROCKPOT STEW
I got this version of this recipe from my friend Dana. My mom often made something very similar to this for us, but never in the crockpot. I don’t know why; it makes perfect sense! The recipe is as easy as can be, you basically just throw all the ingredients into the crockpot and a few hours later you have a delicious meal ready to eat, and the crockpot did all the work for you. You can substitute your favorite meats. Prefer andouille? Want to use crawfish instead of shrimp? Go for it!
1 lb. smoked sausage
2 lbs. russet potatoes
1 med. Onion
1 green bell pepper
2 garlic cloves
1 lb. uncooked shrimp
3 stalks green onions
onion powder
Cajun seasoning
Italian seasoning
1/4 c. chicken broth
1 tbsp. liquid shrimp & crab boil
