You have to have mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving! It’s simple to make and I rarely have any left over,
especially if I have a good batch of gravy!

Ingredients
- 5 lb. bag of Russet potatoes
- Milk
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 1/2 cup Sour cream
- salt
- pepper
Directions
- Peel the potatoes and quarter them.
- Place in a large pot of salted water and boil until the potatoes are soft and easily mashed.
- Drain and return to the pot.
- Add the butter and sour cream to the potatoes and begin to mash.
- Once the potatoes are mashed, begin stirring in milk until the potatoes are nice and creamy.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
